Introduction to Golf, First Time Beginner Golfer
First time golfers and total beginners. To pass the green level the participant must show basic knowledge of the golf fundamentals: Grip, Set-up and Posture and ball position are the key point for this level. Focus on Full swing and putting.
The participant can show proper grip placement on the golf club.
2- Setup & Posture
The participant shows good understanding of an adequate posture. The participant show understanding of setting up properly (see ball position).
3- Full Swing
The participant can swing any irons and make contact with the ball. Occasionally the participant hit the golf ball in the air (at least flagstick height) while performing a full swing with any iron.
Can successfully make a putting stroke and hole out from 4 feet.
5- Playing Requirements
Play 3 holes and hole out on all three holes. Play from suitable tee markers.
6- Rules and Etiquette
Complete the Green Level Quiz to pass.
1- Putting: Hole 2 consecutive putts within 3-4 feet of the hole (putter length)
2- Full swing: Hitting some balls in the air (at least flagstick height) with a full swing with an iron.
3- Play 3 holes and hole out on all three holes. Play from suitable tee markers or yardage.
Instructor ONLY confirmed skills:
1- Setup & Posture: The participant shows basic knowledge of setup and posture.
2- Full swing: Participants shows knowledge of a basic golf swing,
3- Putting: Participant can make an acceptable putting stroke and hole out from 4 feet from the hole.
